Kirthana Lakshmana Perumal is a highly motivated computer science graduate student at University at Buffalo, New York who is actively seeking internship opportunities for Summer’23. With 2.76 years of relevant experience in software engineering, she has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry. Currently, she is working as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture where she achieved a 90 percentile in Greenfield Training, primarily focused on Java, Database, Web technology Concepts, Accenture tools, and methodologies. She has also achieved an 80 percentile in SAP Material Management assessment as a primary skill and completed consumer goods and services as a secondary skill. As a part of a Global PTP (procure to pay) team, Kirthana has supported the functionalities of procurement operations of a leading cosmetic client and carried out the changes required by regional clients in the production system. She has implemented end-to-end process flow for intercompany stock transfer orders and coordinated and fixed defects or performance issues within Service Level Agreements. She is responsible for updating the implemented test scripts/manually running the intercompany scenarios in the Panaya tool. Kirthana has also created multiple implementation/integration approaches for applications and their components and provided direct support for application releases into production, including deployment plan and schedule. She is a certified Automation Engineer (AI and Data Analytics). Prior to Accenture, Kirthana worked as a Software Developer at Antpod where she integrated Google earth engine with python to estimate the cloud cover in satellite images. She also implemented a machine learning algorithm to find the yield prediction of paddy in a particular region. She had hands-on experience of Google Cloud Platform and aided in data build for agricultural purposes. She also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre where she worked on a novel deep learning algorithm to estimate the required features from the ultrasound images and performed segmentation to acquire the fetal head circumference with higher accuracy. Kirthana holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from SRM University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from University at Buffalo. She has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Test, AI, ML, Integration, Web, Java, Python, and Deep Learning. Kirthana is a hardworking and dedicated individual who is always willing to learn and take on new challenges.
